ITS TIME TO MIND YOUR BUSINESS! (Part 1)

Hello!  Happy new to you!!  Hope you are still feeling new? Guess what?????  We are starting the year by minding the business that is ‘YOU’.  Yes, ‘YOU’; because you are a business of such potential magnitude that you can’t afford to let things just happen by chance.

YOU
Your personal attitude can affect the outcome of this year for you as an individual and even in business.
Convince yourself again about your life’s purpose: what do you really want from life?  How does your personality work with this, is there a conflict or are both in harmony? Your goal should be to keep developing your strengths and not wear yourself out doing too much or too little.

YOUR FINANCES
If you are unable to manage your personal funds adequately, chances are you are likely to be unable to manage your business money.  ‘Being poor is not just a mindset; it’s an attitude and a lifestyle.’
Focus more on ‘resourcefulness’. ‘Resources may increase your current income, but resourcefulness will create an unending stream of WEALTH’.  Apple started out not resource focus but on being resourceful.  Today Apple is renowned not for its resources but for its resourcefulness (innovation).

Be open to learning and trying new ideas.  Start where your strength lies.  The good news is that whether you decide to quit your job to start a business or stay put, you can still make more money.  You can be an investor, partner, affiliate, etc.

So, are you as passionate as I am for great chances in your finances?  Then join me for my next article – ITS TIME TO MIND YOUR BUSINESS (Part 2).

Till next time,

Remember – information remains the new currency!

PS.
This article is for you and someone else.  Remember part of your life goal should be to give and share with others.  Share your resourcefulness with someone else by sharing this article.  Let us help make 2015 a year of great financial success for us and those we care about.  Please share.

THAT SPECIAL GIFT!!!!

What makes giving special?

First, the intention TO GIVE, and then the thought put into the giving process.

You give not because you have too much; but because you are grateful for what you have. There can be no better way of expressing gratitude than by giving.

HEALTH IS PRICELESS!
And so today, as I promised... consider this - Giving a gift of HEALTH.

Health is priceless! Have you ever felt sick, really sick? Then you know what it means to be hale & healthy. There are a number of persons willing to give anything to be healthy. Why not give someone this gift this season?

'I can't afford it', may be your response, but you will be amazed to find that you can by taking extra steps to inquire. Let me give you an example. Not so long ago, I discovered that with N15,000 (less than $ 90) you can get a full year health plan. And yes, it includes benefits like consultations, drugs, maternity, tests, etc. I know it, I have seen it and have been a part of it.

So why not give something different, something that the giver will not be able to repay back - the gift of a full year health benefit.

Till next time,

Remember – information remains the new currency.
HAPPY HOLIDAY!

PLEASE READ!!!!!

During the holiday period, there is a tendency to over indulge. Here are some expert tips.

1) Think quality not quantity. Instead of buying a cheap gift that may not be appreciated, invest in a Card - that has a well crafted & heartfelt message (words that hug you like a duvet!).

2) Plan your spending. Draw up a list of the things you are buying. Go to the market, mall with this list to reduce the temptation to over spend!

THANKSGIVING, C.S.R AND P.S.R

In my last article, I encouraged you to do something for an existing or potential prospect. Today, I want to talk about giving as a form of thanksgiving.

When businesses, corporations give, it is called Corporate Social Responsibility (C.S.R). When individuals give, it is called Personal Social Responsibility (P.S.R). Being responsible as a business or an individual is also thanksgiving.

As Americans celebrate thanksgiving (4th Thursday in November), they remind us that we have something to be thankful for. Look back over the past months and tell me just one thing you are thankful for (please… do add it as a comment).

So in the spirit of thanksgiving, do something for someone during the holiday period.

In my next article, I will be sharing one of the many ways you can give thanks as a business (CSR) or as an individual (PSR).

Till next time,

Remember – information remains the new currency.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

P.S – don’t forget to comment on what you are thankful for!
