THANKSGIVING, C.S.R AND P.S.R

In my last article, I encouraged you to do something for an existing or potential prospect. Today, I want to talk about giving as a form of thanksgiving.

When businesses, corporations give, it is called Corporate Social Responsibility (C.S.R). When individuals give, it is called Personal Social Responsibility (P.S.R). Being responsible as a business or an individual is also thanksgiving.

As Americans celebrate thanksgiving (4th Thursday in November), they remind us that we have something to be thankful for. Look back over the past months and tell me just one thing you are thankful for (please… do add it as a comment).

So in the spirit of thanksgiving, do something for someone during the holiday period.

In my next article, I will be sharing one of the many ways you can give thanks as a business (CSR) or as an individual (PSR).

Till next time,

Remember – information remains the new currency.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

P.S – don’t forget to comment on what you are thankful for!

YOU CAN STILL W-I-N!

Everyone’s goal in life is to win. It’s perfectly normal to win some and lose some, unless you are not being true to yourself.

Do you have a hectic work schedule? Have you been trying to save up some money to start a business? Are you dealing with declining profits? Don’t worry, you are about to boost your chances!

As the holidays draw near, how do you create a WIN-WIN situation in business, your personal life or job??????????????????

DO S-O-M-E-T-H-I-N-G BIG FOR SOMEONE!

For a BUSINESS - Buy a unique gift for each customer. Forget about the branded mugs, jotters, pens, etc. get a real personal and special gift. For example – buy a bouquet of flowers for a female customer with a note attached – ‘From Company A. we love you’. Or you can do something obvious for your community; plan a Christmas visit to an orphanage, or show massive support for a local initiative.

For an INDIVIDUAL – Are you thinking of starting a business with a friend, a colleague? Then buy an interesting book on the subject matter. For example a book on ‘great partnership’. Remember to include your name and a heartfelt message. Also, remember your boss. Please get something for the big man!

A WIN-WIN

In the end, you make someone feel appreciated and boost your chances in work, greater business patronage or business opportunity.
So get going for “your position determines your attraction”.

This will create more rewarding and earning opportunities in the coming year.

Till next time,

Remember – Information is the new currency!

BE E-F-F-I-C-E-N-T WHILE YOU W-A-I-T

Have you found this frustrating?

Waiting for the kettle to boil? Waiting for the end of the month to settle certain bills? Waiting to hear from a prospective employer? Waiting for the bank to approval your business loan? Waiting for customers to place orders? Waiting for someone to follow you on twitter; like your facebook page or add a comment? The list is endless!

Waiting doesn’t have to be frustrating. It is not a waste of time. When you utilize the waiting period, you gain efficiency; you improve on your learning curve.

Explore these tips.

For a Business - use the waiting period to review your strategies and goals. Are your closest pals willing to patronize you? Get information from similar businesses with better performances.

For an individual – use the periods to search for alternative sources of income. It can be a part time job, partnership, a startup or even volunteering! So turn those frustrating periods each day into rewarding opportunities.

“YOU CAN; YOU WILL; LIFE CAN BE BETTER FOR YOU”!

Till next time,

Remember – ‘information (what you know & don’t know) is the new currency’
